As the Lead Instructional Designer for the School of Distance Education & International Partnerships I oversee online course development to ensure educational quality. I supervise a team of Instructional Facilitators to assist in the course development process and support faculty for the duration of their course. In my Curriculum Specialists role, I investigate ways to improve delivery and assessment of education for the online programs that I serve. I am an assistant professor for the School of Education and teach an Integrating Technology course to pre-service teachers. Prior to my current position in the School of Distance Education I was the Assessment Coordinator for our Seminary, a position that I held from 2012-2014. In 2014 I completed my PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from the School of Education. I also possess an Educational Specialist and Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a secondary teaching certificate in social studies. My teaching career in post-secondary institutions began in 1997 as a Humanities Instructor at a Community College.
