Nate Turcotte

Nate Turcotte is a Ph.D. Candidate at Penn State University, where he spends his time studying youth - in and across - formal and informal, media-rich learning settings. Through his research, Nate investigates ways in which the typical “classroom as a container” model can be disrupted as he follows the learning trajectories of youth who pursue their own interests beyond school.

Nate has also been actively involved in AECT and the Graduate Student Assembly for the past four years. He has previously served as the Social Media Officer for the GSA and is currently serving as the Communications Officer.
