Jennifer Whitney-Emberton
Jennifer Whitney-Emberton is a student of the Educational Technology Leadership program (Ed.D) at Morehead State and is anticipated to graduate in 2018. She is the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Graduate Student (Ed.D) in the Educational Technology Program, the Outstanding Graduate Student in Foundational and Graduate Studies in Education, recipient of the 2015 SCS Teacher Doctoral Scholarship, 2015 Outstanding Graduate Student in Library Media Education at Western Kentucky University, 2014 Lions Club Teacher of the Year for Franklin-Simpson Middle School, and the May 2014 FSEEF Excellent Educator. Her publications include several educational blogs and co-publishing in the March 2016 TechTrends Academic Journal. Additionally, Jennifer serves on the Editorial Board of Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education, the Simpson County District Technology Committee, and as the coordinator/sponsor for several student clubs. She has presented at multiple state and local conferences, is an active member in several associations, and has been elected to serve as the Graduate Student Associate on the School Media and Technology board, a division of AECT.
