Nicola Wills-Espinosa
Universidad Casa Grande

My name is Nicola Wills-Espinosa.  I am currently the Dean of the School of Human Ecology, Education and Development; at Universidad Casa Grande in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  This is a position I have held for almost 3 years.  I have a PhD in Education (Instructional Design for Online Learning), two Masters in Education: English as a Second Language and Supervision and Administration.  I am currently enrolled in a MA in Anthropology: Advanced Research and Social Intervention, with the intent of doing my PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology.

I have been a teacher educator for 20 years, a passion that I have had my whole life and is an essential part of both my professional and personal life.  Apart from my work in Higher Education, I have worked with children, educators and families at the Pre-K to 12 level; and have done social development projects in impoverished indigenous communities in Ecuador and Peru, primarily focusing on education (formal and informal) as a means to strengthen and build sustainable communities.
