Andrew Tawfik
Andrew Tawfik, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Design & Technology at the University of Memphis. His research interests include problem-based learning, case-based reasoning, case library instructional design, and computer supported collaborative learning. His research especially focuses on how learners use failure experiences to solve new problems. Dr. Tawfik also serves as the director for the University of Memphis Instructional Design & Technology Studio, where he oversees the design and development of digital instructional resources in K-12, business, and medical contexts. He holds a BS of Management Information systems (Bradley University), Master’s of Information Science (Indiana University), and PhD (University of Missouri)
