Yi Jin's research focuses on preparing teachers for technology integration in PK-20 education, especially Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), technology integration in literacy education, and emerging technologies (e.g., 1:1 programs, makerspace). She works with pre-service and in-service teachers on the topics of literacy education and educational technology. She teaches research and theory courses to graduate students on the topics of educational technology and instructional design.
