I would appreciate your vote for me as President Elect of the Research and Theory Division! I consider AECT to be my professional home and the Research and Theory Division is where most of my interests lie.  I would be pleased to devote my energy and enthusiasm to this outstanding and important division.  My PhD is in Instructional Design and currently I work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of South Alabama.  Since joining AECT in 2010, I have had the privilege of being active in a variety of ways.  I was the first editor for GSA’s TechTrends Column and have been a part of the 3MT Planning Committee since 2014.  Currently, I serve as the secretary of the Research and Theory Division and co-chair of the 3MT Committee.  I was selected as the 2013 Strohbehn intern; I have volunteered at multiple conferences, facilitated sessions, reviewed proposals for Research and Theory, and have served on the GSA board.
