Lin Zhong

Currently, Dr. Zhong is an Assistant Professor at department of Workforce Education and Development of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Her primary research interests is in workforce education, with a focus on how to empower people the capability of lifelong learning, with the help of technologies.

Lin Zhong has served as a volunteer for many years and is grateful for the many opportunities for growth that AECT has afforded her. She credits her experiences in AECT with increasing her skills as communicator and the ability to synthesize and deliver complex information to diverse audiences. Her work in the division of SICET allowed her to gained strong leadership skills that enable her to prioritize, delegate tasks, and make sound decisions quickly while maintaining a focus on the bottom line. With enthusiasm of continuously contributing to AECT and instructional technology filed, she would like to serve as Communication Officers in the Division of Emerging Learning Technology in the effort to help foster dialogues centered on innovative technologies in education.
